The civil defense team of the Khalifa bin Zayed Foundation in Socotra managed to control a fire that broke out in a residential unit in Hadiboh, where the team succeeded in putting out the fire once and for all.
An official source in the Civil Defense said that the team went fully prepared after receiving a report at 4:30 pm that a fire broke out in Hadiboh city center in a residential unit owned by a citizen in Hadiboh.
It was worth noting that the efforts of the civil defense team in dealing with the fire contributed to limiting the damage to the house and saving nearby houses that were exposed and their residents at risk of fire.
The people expressed their thanks and appreciation for the efforts of the civil defense team and the Khalifa Foundation for quickly responding to the call and saving the people and their homes from the fire, which began to expand before the intervention of the firefighters.
It was noteworthy that Khalifa Foundation’s civil defense team has contributed, since its establishment, to putting out many fires that broke out in the governorates and limiting the material damage resulting from them.
Since the launch of its humanitarian and development efforts in Socotra, Khalifa Foundation has been keen to form a civil defense team for the first time on the island and work to rehabilitate it and provide it with modern equipment that will enable it to carry out its tasks to the fullest.
