The sport activities department at Khalifa Foundation delivered the operation budget to the football association and sport clubs in the Socotra Archipelago.
Captain Ismail Al Junaibi, sports official at Khalifa Foundation, highlighted that this financial support was in line with the great concern by Khalifa Foundation and His Excellency Khalfan Al Mazrouei with sports and the youth in Socotra, which would upgrade creativity skills of the youth on the Island.
He also added that sport activities department at Khalifa Foundation was working on preparation for the autumn championship in Nujed for the fifth edition with participation of all clubs along with events of the heritage festival during the next month with support by Khalifa Foundation.
In turn, Ahmed Hazoom, Head of the football association in Socotra, thanked Khalifa Foundation for the great support.
He also indicated that this financial support would significantly contribute to completing preparations for the championship.
