Civil Defense Team of Khalifa Foundation held a training on safety and rescue for pilots and service handlers in Socotra International Airport.
Instructor Abu Rashid Al Zahmi was the instructor of the training, which aimed at promotion of rescue and safety in addition to firefighting procedures and first aid in case of fire or accident.
It was worth noting that the Civil Defense Team of Khalifa Foundation provided in-kind and technical support in several occasions in Socotra International Airport. In addition, the Foundation provided firefighting vehicles and uniforms for firefighters.
This initiative was in line with concern with promoting the service staff and pilots in order to deal with accidents properly.
