Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation launched distribution of medical cards and financial assistance in Dexim in the Socotra Archipelago after two years of field survey and continuous work by the surveying team at Khalifa Foundation, which the leaders of the United Arab Emirates concerned with carrying out it in different places in Socotra.
Mohamed Abdullah Al Deximi highlighted that the medical and social cards were distributed today in line with the survey forms that commenced years ago with instructions of the Governor, the late Ahmed Abdullah Hamdon. He also said that this initiative was considered as a new achievement by the United Arab Emirates for the people of Socotra to facilitate dealing with Khalifa Foundation in Socotra to receive their financial assistance in addition to travelling to the United Arab Emirates for treatment. In this regard, the people expressed their thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates and its Representative His Excellency Khalfan Al Mazrouei for support to the people of Socotra.
Socotra Online reviewed opinions of the people of Dexim. Salem Mohamed Salem Al Kebani thanked the United Arab Emirates represented by Khalifa Foundation and Emirates Red Crescent for the efforts relating to distribution of social and medical cards, which contributed facilitating delivery of assistance provided by Khalifa Foundation.
In addition to distribution of medical cards, Khalifa Foundation distributed financial assistance to the people of Dexim in January 2020, especially the elderly, orphans and people with determination.
Essa, a person with determination, expressed their thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates and its leaders for the humanitarian activities.
Ahmed Abdullah Najem highlighted that the efforts of the United Arab Emirates were indescribable and expressed his thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates.
