Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation continued distribution of schoolbooks for elementary, primary and secondary students in Socotra schools.
The team distributed the schoolbooks in Othman ibn Afan School in Gheba District for male and female students, which helped them in following-up lessons.
Mr. Ghanem Abdullah Al Ajami, Principal of Othman ibn Afan School, expressed his happiness for provision of schoolbooks by Khalifa Foundation, since it has been one of the most challenging difficulties that school faces. He commended the efforts of Khalifa Foundation and its role in promoting the level of education in the Archipelago.
In this regard, Teacher Yahia Mohamed Abdullah expressed his thanks to Khalifa Foundation for its support of the school requirements for the second semester. Student Najwa Essa Saad said that providing the students with the schoolbooks would give them a great opportunity for understanding and following-up lessons. Student Fatima Saad, in the first year of secondary school, said that she could only express her thanks and appreciation to the officials of Khalifa Foundation for provision of the schoolbooks contributing to avoiding sharing books among students.
