On Monday, December 09, 2019, the gyrocopter team, in cooperation with Khalifa bin Zayed Hospital in Socotra, transported a patient suffering from renal failure from Socotra International Airport to the Hospital to be treated, since Haibaq road was blocked.
Ihab Said Salim Al Mazrei said that the date of renal dialysis for his mother was four days ago, but she could not go to the center in Hadiboh due to road blockage. This caused serious side effects, and he was very worried about his mother. The teams of Khalifa Foundation transported his mother and his brother with the gyrocopter for treatment in the hospital.
This was in line with the plan developed by Khalifa Foundation to overcome challenges that might rise during blockage of the main roads that link the capital with different places across Socotra.
In this regard, the people praised the great effort of Khalifa Foundation under supervision of its Representative, Khalfan Al Mazrouei, in helping them during these hard times.
It is worth noting that the gyrocopter team carries out several exploratory and saving flights over the remote and mountain areas to help the people and provide them with food and medicine.
