Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation continued its preparations and integrated arrangements in order to refurbish Zayed City Playground 1 in Sotorah in order to hold the annual autumn championship in Nawged.
The workers started working early in the morning by spreading and leveling sand on the playground to be valid for holding matches. Captain Ismail Al Junaibi, the official of sport activities at Khalifa Foundation in Socotra mentioned that the preparation of the playground was within the organization of the annual autumn championship in Nawged for sport clubs, which would launch on 31st of August. He highlighted that the championship would be organized by the Football Association in the Governorate under supervision of the Office of Youth and Sports and support of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.
